Bulk Solid Heat Exchangers

Bulk Solid Heat Exchangers a state of the art technology for this application based on the use of #PillowPlates, that is extensively used for cooling fertilizers like Urea, NPK, Nitrates, but also Potash and lots more. Thanks to this technology it is possible to optimize plant performances and reduce energy consumption compared to traditional systems beside increasing products' quality.

Design is not limited to the heat-transfer calculation, it is related to the whole process, taking into accoung all the possible issues e.g. the need of purge air and temperature profile control of the cooling surfaces in order to handle properly the humidity control of the product.

#FIC' s complete know-how allows to design and manufacture the #BulkSolidCoolers according to specific customer needs; design and manufacturing take place in our engineering offices and workshop located in North Italy according to the strictest design codes and standards. 

complete equipment for testing puroposes directly at plant' site, it can handle up to 2 MTPH and it includes not just the #BulkSolidCooler, but also pump skid for water circulation, purge air blower, instrumentation and dedicated PLC and control. In this way the end users can check performances of technology really and on their specific product.
