Why an Heat Transfer Specialist?

In my twenty years of professional experience, I frequently ran (in Italy and abroad) in the typical Area Agent that begins: "I deal with industrial components: pumps, heat exchangers, valves, automation and different items...".
This approach by the seller generalist, pulling out a sheet with a list of products without any apparent link of continuity or expertise, has always puzzled me.
On the other hand, the sales engineer sent alongside the principal manufacturer has a product to sell and therefore does not hesitate to push it when it is patently unsuitable (typically the seller of gaskets plate heat exchanger that is stubborn to convince the customer of a service that requires a shell & tube).

Furthermore, neither it has skills to see the system in its complexity with the customer's eyes (pressure drops exaggerated to reduce the exchange surface of the heat exchanger without taking account of the greater energy consumed in a year).
At this point it becomes necessary to the need for a new Professional that differs from the others: the Heat Transfer Specialist that operates exclusively in Heat Exchangers (no pumps, valves, etc.) with a portfolio of products ranging from the heat exchanger plates (inspectable, semi-welded, Shell & Plate, Block Type) to the shell & tube in 316 or valuable material (Tantalum, Silicon Carbide, Graphite), by Spiral corrugated tube to tube for viscous fluids.
By integrating with the experience in the installation sector, the Heat Transfer Specialist can offer clients free advice for him (being the consultant paid for by principals houses with a monthly fee) with a view of the whole project and proposing heat exchanger more suitable for every need without being tied to one type or another for exclusivity or convenience bonds.
In addition, not having the hassles of closing the sale in a short time, does not exert pressure on the customer, following with the time needed both the 'EPC Contractor that the final customer in the qualifying phase, inclusion in the Vendor List etc.
In conclusion, concentrating the focus on a specific area: Heat Transfer (from page 100 to page 200, but knowing full well that part of the book) and with a portfolio of products that can offer alternative technical and economical the Heat Transfer Specialist scouting on new products for sourcing professionals by providing state of the art in the industry and it enables manufacturers a qualified vehicle on the market that focuses on specific product without diluting it in a flood of unsorted components ...
