Lecture#5: Heat Exchanger Design

Here is lecture#5 from the Spring 2014 course  at CMU titled Adv. Power Plant Design. The goal of the course is to explain how to design baseload fossil fuel power plants that meet the EPA's proposed regulations on CO2 emissions. The focus of this lecture is an introduction to heat exchanger, such as how to estimate the required area and estimate the pressure drop through heat exchangers.
