Plate Heat Exchangers Thermal Design Software (PHE Works)

In my previous posts I introduced  Top 5 iOS Apps for thermal design and Top 5 Android Apps for thermal design.

On request of  Karim Kouni I am glad to add PHE thermal design software (PHE Works) he wrote back in 2007. It is free and provide results as good as those from HTRI . The link is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/innohex/

First display is for input data concerning reference, plant, item, revision, etc

Second is for design data's (flow rates, temperatures, pressure drops etc.)

Then connection type, material of construction,code, chevron angle, corrugation depth,corrugation pitch, width, ports diameter etc.

Therefore if you as Heat Transfer Specialist would like to design a Plate Heat Exchanger or you have to verify data sheets of bidders for one of your project PHE Works is a proper tool to use.
